Version 2.3

  • Adds one more worker thread (total 4 threads) to the mail verification process against external DNSBL servers.
  • Solves the problem of when using different POP3 port number, email content could not be fetched for preview.

Version 2.2

  • Adds MS Outlook 2000 or above Address Book import function. (Special thanks to Richard Mills and John Faulkner for suggesting this feature. Richard Mills has been very helpful during the development of this feature.)
  • Adds support for "is empty" and "is not empty" filter, which enables blank From or Subject line to be marked as spam. (Special thanks to Doug Haworth for suggesting this feature.)
  • Adds support to make the grid focus stay in the next header after multi-select for bounce or delete.
  • Adds Multi-Email Selection menu items to the Email menu.
  • Detects more IP, especially those enclosed in round brackets (x.x.x.x) or without brackets like x.x.x.x.
  • Solves "Invalid Base64 Character" problem when password is too long, now password can be up to 79 bytes. (Special thanks to T. Sakamoto for identifying this problem and suggesting the password length.)
  • Solves the problem of some IP not being detected as relay IP due to formatting.
  • Solves the problem of ROI time is not saved properly when OS shuts down.
  • Solves the problem of mail check conflict while some dialogs are being opened (like DNSBL dialog). (Special thanks to Tim Keech for identifying this problem.)
  • Solves the problem that causes error while shutting down OS with Chrysanth Mail Manager staying in tray.
  • Solves the problem of after first filter condition being deleted, the Field part will always record as Subject, even if it was changed to CC, To, From etc before closing the dialog.
  • Solves the problem of when detecting DHCP server assigned DNS IPs, Chrysanth Mail Manager will potentially use the DHCP server's IP as the default DNS server IP. (Special thanks to Donald Harriman for identifying this problem and assistance in the development of the solution.)

Version 2.1

  • Adds support to search for DNS servers' setting locally first. If DNS servers' setting is not available, then only use public DNS servers.
  • Friendly mail notification tray icon will not dismiss now during auto-process.  (Special thanks to John Shaffer for suggesting this feature.)
  • Adds Notify Sender function in Mail Log to send notification mails to accidentally deleted mails. (Special thanks to Mark Nathan for suggesting this feature.) 
  • Changes to F5 instead of the old CTRL-M for Check Mail function.
  • Solves the problem of "Max line length exceeded" problem due to downloading message with Null body.
  • Solves the problem of settings are not properly recorded if Chrysanth Mail Manager is closed by the system during shut down, instead of manual exit.
  • Now closing Mail Viewer while downloading the content will no longer show error message.
  • Changes to Setup.exe instead of CSMailManager.zip for all registered customers; Customers will not need any unzipping software now. (Special thanks to Ian Green for suggesting this useful trick.)

Version 2.0

  • Adds Startup Wizard to help new users get started.
  • Adds portable support, which means users can now copy Chrysanth Mail Manager onto a thumb drive and create an empty file named "Portable.cssw" without the quotes in the same folder, so that Chrysanth Mail Manager will record all settings on the same thumb drive.
  • Adds Hashcash support. (Special thanks to Adam Back from Hashcash.org for his assistance and passion in promoting this great anti spam/ junk mail protocol.)
  • Adds new function to view header in Notepad without downloading from mail server again. (Special thanks to Ian Green for suggesting this feature.)
  • Adds new features to mark all mail headers to be deleted or bounced, multi select mail headers to be deleted or bounced. (Special thanks to Mike Porter, Nigel Caldwell, Ian Green and Jerry A. Bagley for suggesting this feature.)
  • Now the mail verification process against external DNSBL servers are much faster due to addition of 2 more worker threads.
