Overview

Nowadays, the Internet has already successfully transformed the ways that people conduct business, work, learn, socialize, communicate, entertain and etc. Specifically, knowledge workers are even more dependent on the Internet as a medium to improve productivity in terms of order processing and tracking, customer and employee service, supply chain management, information search and gathering, messaging, content exchange and etc.

In order to harness the most out of the power of the Internet, many organizations have started to offer email accounts and Internet connections at work. Additionally, people start to work at home and terms like telecommuting are no longer hypes. Rather, some of the old terms like keep-in-touch or stay-in-touch are breathed into with new meanings. Thus, the associated problems with the ease of access or usage of the Internet like spam fighting, lengthy and slow download process of digital content, password management and etc will start to bug most Internet users.

Internet is tomorrow. Nobody can afford resisting the convenience and power offered by the Internet. Obviously, to stay connected and be competitive for such a borderless virtual realm, everybody has to resort to some sort of mechanisms of enjoying the benefits of technologies while rejecting the potential harms that ensue.

Consequently, Chrysanth decides to embark on a new mission to help creating a better user experience in a more connected world. Hence, Chrysanth NETime is conceived to be our pioneering workhorse to various Internet enabled technologies. Chrysanth NETime is our framework for exploring the various value-added technologies that rely on the Internet, mainly with the aim to improve Internet users?productivities and enhance their user experience with more joy. 

What makes Chrysanth NETime so different then? Nowadays, most Internet applications available are designed to serve only one function. What Chrysanth NETime aims is to serve one Objective, i.e. to enhance the experience of using the Internet as a productive medium (by integrating different functionalities to play a supporting role). Hence, Chrysanth NETime employs the state-of-the-art concept of modular software design to allow for easy future extension of existing functionalities.

The Roadmap

The initial release of Chrysanth NETime will include software components like Chrysanth Mail Manager, Chrysanth Download Manager, Chrysanth NETime Diary, Chrysanth NETime Author and Chrysanth NETime Channel. Over time, we hope to add new applications to the product family to enrich the functionalities of the entire framework which would in turn result in better user experience.
