Version 1.5

  • Adds a status icon to show if suggested filename is valid for a particular download.
  • When trying to download from a URL which pops up an empty Internet Explorer window, Chrysanth Download Manager will detect and close the window.
  • Adds function to extract error information inside File->Log.
  • Adds function to extract URLs in Download@Once list.
  • Adds hint for the tray icon to show Just Completed download and Total Completed download count.
  • Adds function to pause browser monitoring/ integration for individual session, accessible via right-click on Chrysanth Download Manager tray icon.

  • Adds better filtering function to Download@Once that allows filtering of files by file extension or file size.
  • Adds support to shift partially downloaded file and continue downloading at other computers or locations.
  • Adds auto-update function to check for file update at a user-determined interval and optionally sync the downloaded file with the source file.
  • Adds FTP proxy support.
  • Adds support for file grouping and filtering based on individual album or folder.
  • Adds Search function to allow easy file searching.
  • Adds function to navigate to the download source's web page.
  • Adds support to automatically categorize incomplete and completed downloads with Downloading and Completed tabs.
  • Adds option to allow showing or hiding of Progress Dialog Detail by default.
  • Performs major facelift. Now the look and feel is more Office 2003 like. Statistics is renamed to History and moved to History->History. Graph is renamed to Statistics and moved to History->Statistics. Window Shop Preference is moved to Setup->Window Shop->Window Shop Preference. Report tab is removed since users can now look for the completed downloads in Completed tab. Logs is renamed to Log and is moved to File->Log. Download@Once tab is removed and now accessible when users right click on the web page in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer right click context menu items like "Add to Download Cart", "Download image with Chrysanth Download Manager" and "Take snap shot" are removed and these are replaced with a single Download@Once menu item.
  • Adds default download folder (accessible from File->My Chrysanth Download Folder), users no longer need to specify download folder for a new download. Files are stored in My Chrysanth Download Folder, where users can easily organize with Chrysanth Download Manager.
  • Adds function to mark file status to be opened or unopened to help users organize and remember if a download is accessed before.
  • Adds buttons to pause, resume or run completed download from download Property Dialog.

  • Adds NETime Shop to showcase other Chrysanth products.
  • Adds function to refresh Window Shop.
  • Adds fields to record download Description and Remarks.
  • Progress Dialog can now be accessed even before the download is started.
  • Adds better handling of Internet Explorer integration.
  • Some of the resume-supported servers were wrongly reported as non-resume-supported servers. This bug is fixed in this version.
  • Some minor improvements on performance.

  • Optimizes pausing download response time.
  • Optimizes file I/O operation when downloading file.
  • Provides option to enable/ disable Internet Explorer Monitoring when Chrysanth Download Manager is not running.
